Another Timelord being built as we speak…🚓🚓📡

10th of March 2021 the Hunttimelord blog receives an email out of the blue from over the pond.

“Hello friend, just found your web page. I wanted you to know, another Time Lord vehicle is being built in Miami.”..

The Hunttimelord blog enquired….

Hi!

I know a little bit about it.

A 1960’s Black & White  it is being prepped by an outfit that builds cars for the movies.

I have a friend that works there and is also a big fan of the KLF.

So it seems like its gonna be for some sort of tribute or cameo appearance for a film or video clip.

My mate told me about it and send me the photos he secretly took while in the art department there.

The car is in the back lot being worked on mechanically, it tends to overheat and they sent away for some parts and a new radiator.

They are very hush-hush about everything they build  so keep it under your hat for now. ( Don’t want to get my friend fired.)

Within a week

Door Decals were cut today. Still need some detailing I was told.

They got the car started and put it under wraps in a tent. I think mostly to get it out of the scorching sun.

Today the art department girls were trying to figure out how to hang the work light and radio mike for the back seat passenger as seen in the original video clip without tearing the headliner. My mate also included a pix of the dash and said…

“Tomorrow night they are going to test drive the car to see how it runs & drives.

They are going out in the middle of the night so as to not attract too much attention.

If all goes well, they are going to shoot some proofs of the car at one of the locations to see how it looks under the street lights.”

It seems Black cars are harder to see in fine detail, at night.

That’s why I think the original Timelord looks so dusty in the video, (It helps to the accent the car better.)

Also the front licence plate is going to read P L Y  in a U. K. style. I get the PLY (Plymouth) and the 66 for the year…
                                                                 6 6 B
But the “B” I’m not too sure of.,, maybe Belvedere?

Those big square  licence plates ya’ll use over there, look funny to us Yanks. lol

Here is are shots of the door decal. It still has to be detailed and weathered.

It looks sightly different than the original…

I guess every artist has his or her own take on how they create their own version of what came before and leave their mark.

Hello!!

Not much to report for this week, other than the car had to have fuel pump and filter replaced, its petrol tank and fuel lines drained and flushed.

Apparently there was much rust and varnish clogging up the system.  I dont know if you guys have the same type of gasoline in the U.K. as we have here in the States.

Ours is a mix of 10% Ethanol and 90% unleaded gasoline.

This witches brew plays havoc on an old car’s fuel system.  It rots the rubber fuel  hoses, trap water in the tank, creates rust & varnish and becomes stale gasoline very quickly (within 30 days). It also fouls the spark plugs with residue.

This car had been sitting idle for the better part of 2 years.  But by Monday is should be running again.

The car is part of a picture car fleet of vehicles and are becoming quite hard to find and valuable. It has been in several movies and T.V. shows.

I remember one particular movie several years ago with Goldie Hawn called “Criss Cross” and the car can be seen parked and driven on the street in a couple of scenes.

Will keep you posted.

They got it running and took it out for some location photos.

Finally the car is ready.  it looks like the video will be shot in about 3 weeks.

Then, it will take 2 or 3 months for it to be released once it is put together and edited.

These were the latest photos taken at a second location. check out the rear licence plate.

Hello!

Here is a little raw clip off the editing bay in low rez.

Taken off a monitor when no one was looking. Hope you can play it its in mp4 format.

(Had to trim it down a bit in order to send it over.

Cheers O,

We have another sneak peek with KLF eternal trance on the background.

Gassing up!

Another sneak peek!

Final shots were taken 2 days ago now the editing will begin in earnest.  There is about 3.5 hours of raw footage to go through and whittled  down to the length of the song. .

With that type of video volume one would figure there is enough material to make a second music video.

The car is going in the shop for  a new more powerful and reliable modern engine.  From a 4.5 liter to a brand new 5.2 liter V8 “crate motor” that’s on order.

The mechanic don’t want to work on engines that are older than they are… None of them know how to adjust a carburetor, or how to replace set of ignition points.

The car sounds & runs good (for now) But they just don’t want to deal with it anymore. Plus the trouble with the modern gasoline these old engines cant handle,

So a new motor and retrofit kit and off she goes.  We have this car craze here called “Resto Mod”  Old car body with modern running gear…  go figure.

Sometimes they make it up as they go along in order to get the right angle.

This contraption started it life as a selfie stick…

Huntimelord exclusive!!!!The Hunttimelord blog has been given an exclusive invitation to a very special night and is very proud and very pleased to bring you some great pics from before and after the first Cinema screening of Who Killed The KLF!

Hunttimelords Invite

He was more than happy to oblige

I asked Ford about his involvement with the film!

FT:

I have already had a few interactions with the Hunttimelord blog over the last five years and was happy to talk to them again..

I received a message from them in 2019 about someone trying to get in touch with me about being in a film that someone was putting together,

I was a bit dubious as that outing I’d had in 2017 that was to do with The KLF,

I got plastered in some nasty white paint, again!🙄

Gladly it was only cheap paint so with a good effort it all came off and here I am again!

I do Look forward to seeing the film to see

what they have put together, and the fact that I’m in it of course!

Well after spending time with Ford and seeing Who Killed The KLF on the big screen the hunttimelord blog gives it its highest praise to Chris Atkins who produced and released this film!

The film was brilliant and it was a great night with complementary drink vouchers given out on entrance with some great vouchers given out,had to keep hold of one of these!
